COVID-19 Delivery Updates

Important Covid-19 Updates 
 

Due to COVID-19, many courier companies are experiencing delays. Although they are working hard to deliver on time, please be aware that delays may occur on your delivery - these delays can be up to 10-14 days!

Huboo Services:

At Huboo we are still working at our usual rate and stock is being shipped on time. However, once your stock leaves our doors it is dependant on the courier companies and their situation, to make sure it is delivered on time. 
We are continuing to prioritise the task of shipping items and maintain > 99.5% on time shipments. That said, during these unprecedented times, please plan for inbound stock delays of up to 5 working days (rather than the usual 2 days) before checking in. We only ask this because these challenging times are changing all the time. It’s important to plan ahead where possible.

Delivery Updates 

We are experiencing  severer delays with Royal Mail delivering post in the UK.   All couriers are experiencing delays or are no longer guaranteeing service to several countries.  

It is vital you keep up to date with the any developments regarding courier services, which you can do via their websites.

Current Courier Facts:

  • Special delivery and tracked service are being prioritised (please note that Special delivery before 1pm is now Special delivery before 9pm)
  • Certain areas are being affected more due to staff in isolation (this is a moving target so specific areas cannot be advised)  
  • Compared to this time last year Royal Mail (as an example) are dealing with an 80% increase in volume. (This is their Christmas time volume but they do not have the extra staff they usually have at Christmas - they actually have less staff than they usually would in a typical April (due to isolation))
  • Royal mail (for example) is currently not offering a door to door service on Wednesdays or Sundays. For example, if a customer orders an item on a 24hr tracked service on a Tuesday this will not arrive on the Wednesday.
 
All UK couriers are experiencing these issues and are working hard to keep everything going as best as they possibly can, whilst putting in measures to ensure that their staff are as safe as possible.
