Bali Bowl - NASI BOWL
'Nasi' means rice. Rice is the staple food of the Balinese people. It is eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The saying goes, ‘if you don't eat rice, you won't be full.’
Agriculture in Bali uses an ecologically sustainable system called Subak. Subak's existence is a manifestation of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. Tri Hita Karana comes from the word Tri, which means three, Hita, which means happiness or well-being, and Karana, which means cause. So, it can be concluded that Tri Hita Karana means ‘Three causes of happiness and prosperity.’
Subak, for the Balinese, is not only an irrigation system but also the concept of life for the people themselves.
